Timeshare Scams and Fraud

Dont invest in timeshare field with royal holiday , they are scammers. When I tried to reserve a vacation I discovered that I have to wait 40-45 days before I reserve a vacation to see if any hotel has a vacancy and then I can go. Meaning that if I want to go to Cancun I have to wait until there is any vacancy and I can't find then the expiration date end and I can't go any more. Also when you are working you can't take vacation whenever you want. A warning to those looking to buy at Royal Holiday: Make sure everything the salesperson says that makes the purchase sound appealing is written down, signed and dated by the salesperson. We went to a timeshare presentation at the Riviera Maya in Nov 2015. It was the worst thing we could of done. Sadly we were scammed. In the sales presentation we asked many questions, and some questions various times. Every question or doubt we had regarding the contract was put to ease by the 2 sales persons who dealt with us. We have tried contacting them at many different numbers and sent them letters. We have been promised that our calls will be returned but they are not. They will not cancel the purchase or contract and they will not even bother to speak to us and find a resolution.

My wife and I were on vacation in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and stayed at The Grand Mayan . We went to a timeshare presentation. Unfortunately I felt for it and I am very sorry that I attend to their 90 minutes presentation, which turned out to be more like 5 hours of high pressure selling strategy they use to sell one of their units. We paid them 6500 and our relatives paid them 5500. When we were to return to the States we were supposed to send a wire for an additional 2500.We were desperate for help once we arrived home from Mexico and found out we had been scammed. We spent $10000 on a membership to the Royal Diamond resort Playa and were promised rental returns and the ability to rent it ourselves. Nothing !! and no return e mails after 1 year.

I was told that I would be able to cancel this time share with no problems. They also stated he policy would not take effect until three months after but it stared immediately drafting my payments out of my account. I tried to call and cancel the policy but no one was helpful including the corporate office. I was told that I had to call another to see if they would buy out my timeshare. I'm stuck paying for a timeshare I do not want nor will I ever use! Can anyone help me with disapating this policy?
