Timeshare Misrepresentation - Diamond Resorts International
Company Name: Diamond Resorts International
I was visiting Polo Towers in Las Vegas when I was asked to attend a sales update presentation. I told the staff many times that I was not interested but they insisted that it was necessary for me to learn about new updates. When I arrived, I was told that this meeting would take an hour of my time. This could not have been further from the truth! I told the sales rep that I was not interested in making any changes to what I already owned and that I was on a fixed income and could not afford anything more. He told me that this loan would have an interest rate of 3.99% and that the payments would only be $230 a month. I was skeptical but trusted that the staff had my best interest at heart. When I got back to my room, I tried to call and cancel but I was once again reassured that this was a benefit. They have mislead me at every opportunity! Nothing they told me was truthful and I firmly believe that I was a victim of elder abuse at the hands of Diamond Resorts.
