Timeshare Scams and Fraud

3000.00 in charges on my credit card that were supposed to be deleted the next day as they were double charged to the company, who put the charges on their cc.

I received a call stating changes and a new concept to my RCI vacation points. The meeting was at Applebee's and I would be treated to a free dinner. The company representing RCI was PRL (Points Rental Liquidators). I was guaranteed to receive a check in 6 to 7 months for the points they (PRL) used to rent my timeshare. In exchange I had to purchase a timeshare with Sunset Harbor Resorts in Willis, TX. That would give me 27,000 points added to my already RCI points. I could transfer more points if I wanted. We signed up with PRL and as part of the process we were forced to buy intio a Texas Timeshare Comapn7y called Sunset Harbor Resort. In any case we cannot get hold of anywone at PRL or for that matter at Sunset Harbor and apparently, from other complaints I have seen on the internet we are not alone. This comapny appears to be a fraudulant company and don't do business with them.

I can't believe I got ripped off.. I told them I could not afford the amount they wanted. so they dropped it $100, bit deal... I talked with 4 different people and they all told me they had worked for the co for 5 - 9 yrs and they were honest and good people, only wanting to help me out by selling my timeshare. Of course I would get many calls they were certain of that, and if not, they would buy it back within 10 months. They put the price on it, not me. I knew it was too high and told them so... I had to borrow the money. I feel SICK, wish I had gone to this website beforehand. How can they get away with this... can't they be stopped. How many more people are they going to hurt!!!???

This company is a fraud and scam. They said that they guaranteed to get you out of the timeshare contract, and if they can't they will refund your money back 100%. The company failed to get me out of the contract and have asked for the refund back since Feb. 9, 2013 and they have ignored my request. I've sent a formal complaint to the BBB and they have not responded back to the BBB. They gladly talk your money, but when they failed....they won't give your money back as stated! Don't deal with any companies that say that they can get you out of the timeshare contract! They are liar, a fraud and a scam!!!!
