Timeshare Scams and Fraud

my story is very similar. Professional people. legitimate websites. they said Samuel Zell is buying 130 units at Pueblo Bonito Mexican timeshares. What really hit me was the escrow beneficiary designation form. Why would billionaire Samuel Zell will hold the account using his own name instead of using an LLC or something. The sales person was a real person that they were impersonating. I would have called her if her phone number on the NY licensing board works. Maybe that is why they picked that person. Switch it states that they will sell our timeshare property and wanted to transfer our timeshare to them to sell. They have had our timeshare for 3 years now, and still havent sold it. Our timeshare is still with Vacation village at Bonaventure in Coral Springs, FL. I am unable to contact or receive a reply from Switch It, and have left several messages. I think this company is a scam and would like it to be investigated! We paid them $1500 to sell our timeshare.

Sent contract for timeshare resale, we briefly reviewed and sent $998 via Zelle to Eralza Hernandez tel # 646-703-3042, less than 24 hours called and canceled contract and that’s when Andrew Morgan, sales manager got online and said after listening to all recordings that, mr Lopez had not been upfront with us and he would refund our money/-told me to go into Zelle account and send to same person, same original amount and then put in special code and it would give error message///I was really stupid to click submit//as soon as I did, it took another $998 from my account—he claimed it did not get to their end and to do again with a different code//I said I damn sure not gonna do that again until some money goes back into my account. Contract they sent me included a $15,000 closing fee that I was supposed to pay now. Travel Marketing said they would reimburse the money at closing. I told them they were crazy to think I was going to prepay anything. I called them a scam.

I have been contacted by a dubious timeshare “resale” company
that called TRAVEL MARKETING ASSOCIATES INC and they claimed their business location at 3030 North West Expressway, Suite 200, Oklahoma City, OK 73112. I contacted the office location provided and found out that the suite 200 is PC Executive Service and they told me that the location is not a sharing office and this business has not affiliation with TRAVEL MARKETING ASSOCIATES.
I perform a thorough research to verify the authenticity of this TRAVEL MARKETING ASSOCIATES INC business and find that there are two Customer complaints in last three years on Better Business Bureau website (Travel Marketing Associates Inc. | Complaints | Better Business Bureau® Profile (bbb.org)).
