These guys called me saying that they had an interested buyer for my FAVC Cabo timeshare which was 4x the original purchase price and that there would be no money required from me up front. Everything would come out of the escrow proceeds. I thought I would humor these guys and wait until they contacted me saying they needed money after all. Sure enough, a couple days later they said that there was this new Mexican law requiring a tax for international investors to pay $3200. The buyers already deposited this additional money into the escrow account so I wouldn't really be paying anything but that I had to wire the money on my own first. I told them that this wasn't going to happen and now they are saying that in order to cancel escrow I am responsible for over $7000 in escrow fees. Total scam! You can see it all over the internet: "Never wire money to anyone to sell your timeshare." Period! If you really want to be rid of your timeshare, just give it back to the timeshare company you bought it from. I have done that with a Hawaii timeshare that had overpriced annual fees, but FAVC has very reasonable annual fees. Good luck. ;)
