Officers responded to the scene, where a 16-year-old girl said she had been touched inappropriately by a man in the pool. The man also exposed himself to the teen and touched her several times, the girl said.

The girl reported the abuse to her foster mother, who then told the resort’s staff. Employees notified police. The girl provided the officers with a physical description of the suspect, who had by then left the swimming pool area. Officers then conducted a door-to-door search of seven buildings on the timeshare property, but were unable to find the man.

Police are now on the hunt for a man who is about 40 to 50 years old, and is described as having an average height and weight, and a medium to dark complexion.

The suspect is balding with gray and black hair. He was last seen wearing a multi-colored soccer-style jersey that read “FIJI” across the front in white letters. Police said the number 20 was written on the back of the jersey, and that the man also wore burgundy-colored swim trucks with a black stripe on the leg.

The man was seen with two young children, a boy and a girl. The victim of the assault told officers that the suspect who touched her had told her the two children with him were his niece and nephew.
