The resort is great. They just recently renovated the place after a storm. It features a Dye designed championship course that looks out on the desert and the bay and a brand new practice facility and pro shop. Even the suite we were in had a full kitchen and the Wal Mart is close so we could get whatever food we wanted when we didn't want to eat out. The restaurant was surprisingly good and much less expensive than the downtown eateries that overcharge tourists. There was a private beach club with transportation, but since the resort wasn't in the downtown area it was quiet and relaxing at night. The pool was great for kids and adults. For how top notch the resort and country club is it was also affordable. Other resorts charged as much as 3 times the price for the same experience and amenities but the wife liked it so much even she took up golf.
