Timeshare Scams and Fraud

I Brought a timeshare last year and told them i may be being lay off. what happens if i do they said it is ok you have 90 days to cancel .

well i did get layed off and i have been trying since december to get them to reply to my email i have go the auto reply back to say they have my emails . i have sent 25 emails saying i do not have a job and cannot pay can you please help me but yet nothing .

i do not think that is far i have stress trying to find a job and please them keep asking for money i do not have what can i do

My wife and I were pitched, the sale of our existing timeshare was a condition of purchase at Royal Holiday . The salesperson misled us about the guarantee to sell our existing timeshare for $62,750. We didn't get the guarantee until we were leaving after signing the contract. The guarantee was for no more than to list the property for sale for $62,750.

We talked about the RCI bonus weeks we were getting. We talked about the cost of $179 or $189 a week. Nothing was said about having to pay maintenance fees first .We were told we were getting a $90,000 annuity. We then found later it was an "anticipated" annuity.

Same info as other complaints only the names are changed Sam Bonin is the supposed broker working for a title company. They have no record of him. Jodie claims to be deaf and the money was to be wired to Turkey.

We purchased in 2011 at occidental grand in Cozumel. We used a free week one time. Haven't used other than that because we can find cheaper and better online. Certainly not what we were told. DO NOT Purchase at occidental no matter what they tell you!!!! All lies. We have another time share we've used over the years. It has served us well so we know the difference in legit and not. We paid 18k for one week of all inclusive lol. Don't be duped like we were. Now I've quit paying maintenance fee. I'm being charged $30 a month in FC. Whatever. I can sign it back to them. They will even send me a paper! 😭😂.

My mother bought a timeshare at Villa del Palmar in Cancun in August 2014. After paying thousands of dollars, she did not enjoy any benefit because the system has been deliberately created in a way that is as confusing as it is possible.
