Timeshare Scams and Fraud

We have sent money in good faith and we’re told they had a buyer. Now they tell us the Mexican government is requiring $19,000.00. This company is scamming us and we would like the Attorney General of Wyoming to investigate this company.

This company contacted me wanting to by my timeshare, seemed ok, no money needed to close the deal. Then there's a contract and now they need $3500.00 because the Mexican government needs up front money. I say no way. Now they have gone as far as threatening me that I am in breach of the contract and that the "buyer" gets my property if I do not pay. Such a scam and a mess.

They called me (Strike #1 in the scam game) with a buyer at a very good price (Strike #2). I said I was interested but I wanted to make sure there was no upfront money. George agreed, in writing (he always wanted to use the phone but I forced him to use email), that there wouldn't be any. Sure enough, a week or so later, they were telling me that I had to pay 5 weeks of maintenance in advance and that I could wire the money to an escrow acct in Mexico (Strike #3 - you're out!). George told me that if I paid the timeshare directly, they would then ignore the sale since they "had me locked in for five years."

A Wyoming co from a virtual office has a buyer that the seller will pay the CO company 5% to receive an price for a time share.
