You probably didn’t mind that you had to share a hotel room at all when the children were younger. A room with two double beds may have seemed like more than enough room. However, now that they’re older, you may be thinking twice about that single hotel room and how tight the quarters are going to be. Timeshare rentals don’t have to be costly, and they can give your family the space needed to enjoy their vacation without having to live in close proximity to each other.
One of the greatest advantages of renting timeshare over a hotel room is that the family is together and under one roof. I’m not comfortable leaving my teenagers unsupervised and in a hotel room of their own. Plus, my husband and I are on vacation too, and we don’t want to have to split up into different hotel rooms just to keep an eye on them.

What I’ve recently discovered is that by doing my research, I can get a better rate on a 2 bedroom timeshare than I would if I was to reserve a hotel with the same number of beds. Plus, renting timeshare allows everyone to have their own room and space. There’s even a living room so the family can watch television together. For those who want their privacy or they would like to turn in early, they can retire to their own room and not be bothered by the noise.

Also, with the timeshare rental, I can make sure we have a washer, dryer and a full kitchen in the unit. We normally eat out on vacation, but we can save additional money by having breakfast in our timeshare and have the refrigerator filled with lunch supplies, snacks, soda and water. Having a washer and dryer in the unit means we can wash our clothes, and we don’t have to worry about heavy bags. This is especially cost efficient since the airlines are charging additional funds for checked baggage. The savings really add up when you’re being charged at least $20 per bag for a family of five.
