CELEBRATION – Members of the armed services who are coming home from the conflicts in the Middle East will be readjusting to life back home and with their families.

Washington – The Federal Bureau of Investigation just issued a warning to anyone considering purchasing or selling a timeshare. Owners of these vacation properties, all across the country, are
being scammed out of millions of dollars by unscrupulous companies that promise to sell or rent their property, the FBI warns.

SHANDAKEN, N.Y. — For more than a decade, developer Crossroads Ventures has been seeking regulatory approval to build two hotels, timeshare townhouses and a golf course at the Belleayre Mountain ski center in Upstate New York. But the plans for the Belleayre Resort at Catskill Park, as the development would be called, have been on the drawing board for the past 10 years.

KISSIMMEE – In an effort to more aggressively promote Central Florida’s hotels, resorts, timeshares and vacation homes, the leading tourism office in Osceola County has hired a private marketing research firm to collect data on the hospitality industry.

A defamation lawsuit filed on the opening day of the Sundance Film Festival in Utah was launched by a leading timeshare developer in Central Florida.

David Siegel, a timeshare developer, filed the lawsuit on Tuesday, Jan. 11, after objecting to the promotional materials for the movie "The Queen of Versailles," an Evergreen Pictures documentary based on him, his wife Jackie and the construction of their huge mansion in
Florida.
