Holiday Inn Club Vacations was properly notified by way of Cert. of Death that Account Holders have passed away and, there is no longer any interest in utilizing the property. This process was initiated in regards to three other Time Share management companies. All of them have formally acknowledged the reality of their respective-agreements and, contracts have been foreclosed, terminated, ended, A 3-year personal extension was provided by one Firm. Unexpected, appreciated.

#hiclubvacations however has not put any effort into ceasing this previous annual-use contract and, it has been nearly Three Years since one of the two Holders (my parent) passed-away. At best, I was only allowed a verbal acknowledgement during one of many, many, many (too-many...) repeat telephone calls on t... Read More

In 2013, we were visiting the Cancun Resort in Las Vegas when we were told that Diamond Resorts had taken over the membership that we had in two different timeshare companies. We were asked to attend a meeting where the sales staff told us we needed to make a purchase so that we could continue to keep the “equity” we had already built up over the past 10 years. What “equity?” Timeshares are worthless, especially Diamond’s. Since that meeting, we have been subjected to numerous “update meetings” where we have been pressured to the point where we felt we needed to make a purchase to be able to leave the room. Every time we told the staff we were already unhappy and that we could not afford to make another purchase, yet they have assured us that a new purchase wou... Read More

Holiday Inn is way to much for me to afford I can not even pay the fees any more let alone enjoy this timeshare I want to be free and out from under the timeshare. I just want out.

My wife and I were in Las Vegas when we were approached by Diamond Resorts representatives at Circus Circus. They asked if we would be interested in receiving free tickets to dinner and a show as a gift for our attendance at a one-hour presentation. When we signed up, our yearly income did not meet their minimum, but the rep said not to worry about it, which in hindsight, should have been a huge red flag! At the presentation, when the first offer was presented, we told them that this was way more than we could afford. After 4 hours of continuous better and “one-day only offers”, we finally gave in. The employees led us to believe that this would be an investment for us and our family. The one time we have used this membership, we could not make reservations in Hawaii li... Read More

In 2019, we were visiting a Diamond Resorts location and were offered a discount 4-day trip to Palm Springs if we attended a timeshare presentation while there. The staff pressured us relentlessly into making a purchase. While at the presentation, we were told that these resorts were for the exclusive use of members, that this was a real estate investment, and that not traveling more with our family made us bad parents. Finally, we felt that we needed to make a purchase, not only to leave, but so that our children could experience the lifestyle that the representative was promising. After that day, we continued to get hounded with calls from Diamond employees asking us when we would be attending a welcome presentation. Every time we tried to book it; nothing was available! ...
