We sat at this presentation that they told us that the owners put together their own exchange program called Advantage. After we agreed and paid them $5000.00 US dollars only to find out a year later that they don't own it. Very disappointed with paradise village. Will use interval and never go back to paradise village. If anyone is bringing legal action against them please let me know how to go about it. Thanks

Vidanta a nightmare in Real Life
A few months ago I went to Riviera Maya Vidanta. sales people offered us a ride to see the facilities, includig a free breakfast but with an obligatory timeshare presentation. After that many people, a friend and I we decided to buy them a membership . Without clearly read what we were signing by the urgency of the matter. They ask to take out a credit card to cover the down payment. they took a long time to return my card, a comparison to my friend they charge very quick the hitch in her credit card. We were not given any contract. They said they would arrive 15 days after the signing of documents. At home, a week after this what I talking about, without having received my contract yet. I called to the resort to make the timeshare cancellation co... Read More

Contacted by e-mail for my timeshare. Agreed selling price 7,000. Rec'd cashiers check from Spire Federal Credit Union in the amount of 2900.00 asking me to keep 500.00 as a deposit and to forward 2400.00 to Paul Kaplan her attorney. They are using First American Title Company. Mr. Kaplan is out of the country in Istanbul but can complete work by e-mail. Ms. Stossel has informed me she is deaf.

Vidanta Group Timeshare Scam

" and the answer is EVERYTHING, they ruined our vacation, they first did not want to let us go, and even if it sounds exaggerated, they forced us to buy.
Vidanta group is a group of swindlers and liars, avoiding our calls, they told us that would return the calls, made us spend our 5 days that they gives you to cancel, just to then refuse the cancellation.
Fortunately my sister gave us information from a company that cancel timeshares, they are called Mexican Timeshare Solutions and we are very... Read More

I was ripped off in the cruelest way possible, while I relaxed and confident on my vacation, I was invited to a presentation of "supposedly" 90 minutes which really lasted nearly 6 hours, at the beginning we did not want to buy anything, but for them seemed quite the opposite, like "if you tell us more, we are very interested in buying"

finally tired we believed that our only way to get out is buying ,as the seller told us: “ try it and if you don’t want it you can quit at anytime with a refund back “ ,obviously we believed them and as we were very tired and fed up or read anything we accepted.

We decided to enjoy our vacation and returning home and with calm we could cancel the timeshare with no problem. To our bad luck when we called to cancel, th... Read More
