Timeshare Scams and Fraud

Worried about our timeshare sale in reading reviews from previous victims. March 5, 2013 we signed contract and gave up $1098.00 for a marketing fee to list our Las Vegas timeshare for sale. They are listing our timeshare for $24200.00 to $26900.00 and are promising to buy it within 10 months which would be coming up about January 4th of 2014. I am not feeling to positive about the outcome and if all those reviews are true and we come out short then something should be done to close these people down. They should be sued and they are close enough to me to picket their offices if necessary in rider to get some kind of attention!!!! 12/29/2014 GOT A CALL FROM RON HARVEY, HE SAID LAST YEAR I AGREED TO HAVE THERE CO TTC GET ME OUT OF MY TIMESHARE DEED. HE SAID THAT THE ATTORNEEYS HAVE DONE THIS AND I NO LONGER AM THE OWNER AND NEVER HAVE TO PAY MAINTANCE FEES AGIN SAID THAT THEY HAVE A TAPED AGREEMENT (THAT HE COULD NOT PLAY FOR ME,SAID HE WILL SEND ME A COPY) THEN HE WANTED MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER FOR THEIR $5000 FEE. IWONT GIVE ANYBODY MY NUMBER OVER THE PHONE THIS IS A TOTAL SCAMM DONOT BELIVE HIS B S LIES!!!!!

My husband and I attended a timeshare presentation when staying at the Grand Luxxe in Neuvo Vallarta in December 2013. We are long-time timeshare owners (with Club Intrawest) and exchanged into the Grand Luxxe, so we know the industry and SHOULD KNOW BETTER!

However, the package they presented to us was perfect for our needs to exchange for all kinds of vacation properties (resorts, hotels) for our travel needs. Dec10,2012 was talked into turning my points over to VSI &EPS. I could travel thru VSI using less points than RCI.I would be paid for 160,000 of my points at 7.5 cents a point. They would use the other 160,000. I put $9,980.00 on a Chase account and have been paying $100.00 a month with the assurance I would receive my $12,000 in 6 months and then pay off Chase. 6 months went by and I was told I need to be patient and would have to wait another 6 months. It is a year and I have not received anything nor can I get a hold of anyone. They do not return my calls which I have been making for months. Anyone have any way or suggestions on solving this. 07/15/2013: Joshua Anderson from Century Events & Destinations (CED) contacted us telephonically. Claimed to have a client that wants to rent one of our vacation weeks at Ocean Coral and Turquesa for the next 10 years. Initial sale price of $17,950.00. Meaning $1,795.00 per week/per year for the next 10 years.
7/31/2013: Contract was emailed, reviewed, signed and sent back.
First change: Client declined initial sales price and offered $15,950.00. We accepted new offer, signed and emailed documents back.
