It is a timeshare resale scam where you send out a few hundred dollars and once they get the money they hang up on you. Here is a email they send also.
Hello my name is Ben Gaines and I saw your timeshare ad I am looking to buy a unit and I want to buy your timeshare on behalf of one of our clients, we are a property locating service and we buy vacation property’s for people who hire our services, your timeshare is a perfect match for one of our clients and we would like to make you an offer so if you timeshare is still for sale please email me your phone number with area code or call me and i will present you with our client offer to buy your timeshare.

I was telephoned on 8/27/11 from a man identifying himself as Ron Richards from Southwestern Equity Group Inc. He asked if I had a timeshare for sale. We discussed the timeshare and he said he had buyers He emailed me the contract and said he needed a cashier check for $2,500 made out to the company. He said this was refundable and that as soon as the escrow came thru I would get my money back along with $20,000. The closing date was 9/26/11. I never received a penny. Now they will not answer the phone or email
