Timeshare Scams and Fraud

I agree to sell a vacation club package. The contract required me to pay an upfront transfer fee which would be reimbursed by the buyer. Over the next 2 months I was informed that I needed to pay 6 additional fees that were required by the Mexican government and that the buyer would reimburse me for each of these fees. I was sent escrow statements from Moon Abstract Co indicating that the buyer had deposited checks for all of the fees in an escrow account. After wiring the last fee the Moon Abstract Co took down their website and discontinued their phone lines and International Corporate Brokers has not returned any of my phone calls or emails. I have filed a report with the FBI

I both this time share in 9/13/1987--in 1993 the went under so they gave me a quick claim deed in 1994--from a trustee ,and in 9/4 2012 i received a letter stating that
two owner owned this unit and that i didn't buy my unit until 1994,so i told she to sent me a paid in full deed that is the only deed i would except from you,i have never heard from her again---she claim she was from Steward
Title,so i pulled the records,and the primary owner is not me,and now they have me i collection because i want pay anymore--so the want allow me use my unit,and they want talk to me--they tell me i need to talk to collection,and she tell me i need to pay what ever they sent.I showed collection the letter that said i was not the owner,she told me she did;t believe me.

I am lodging my complaint here to raise awareness about what’s going on at Vida Vacations.I made the mistake of believing what my Vida sales rep told me.

When I was looking at Vida, I told them we rarely used our 2 weeks per year that we already had with Shell Vacations. The Vida sales rep told me that this was not an issue at all, that we could easily sell our Shell timeshare through a recommended broker for cash and that this was a plan that many of their members sucessfully used. We could then use the cash procedes to replace the money we would use to buy the Vida timeshares. Plus, Vida was different because whatever weeks we didn’t use from Vida could be rented out through the same broker, which seemed like a safe bet to me.

FOR $4795 THEY WILL RID YOU OF YOUR TIME SHARE, TOTAL BS ALL THEY ARE DOING IS SELLING YOU A TRAVEL SERVICE CALLED CAREFREE JOURNEY - SO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR TIMESHARE AND A TRAVEL SERVICE THAT YOU DON'T NEED DON'T I SAID DON'T FALL FOR THIS!!!! This was a total scam. We were guaranteed that we would receive 6.5 cents for every point given in the timeshare inventory that we turned over to them. This amounted to 207,000 points & were to be paid for 200,000 points in October 2014.

As of this date registered mail has been accepted with no response & after numerous calls the phone has been disconnected
