I was contacted that there was a buyer for my timeshare, Wilderness Club, Big Cedar,Ridgedale, Mo. i was instructed to send a money order for $162.00, by wire to Coten Gilson. The money was wired. When questioned as to nothing heard from him, sent a condescending, rude letter threatening to sue for harassment, breach of contract. ( no contract was signed)

THEY SOLD US ON TRADING IN OUR PRE-EXISTING TIMESHARE IN ORDER TO BUY THEIRS. THEN THEY LEAVE ALL THOSE DETAILS OUT OF CONTRACT AND DO NOT ACTUALLY FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THE TRADE. ONCE YOU CALL THEM OUT, THEY SAY YOU CAN CANCEL AND FORFEIT YOUR DOWN-PAYMENT. COMPLETE AND UTTER SCAM.

A company contacted me regarding my property, they dont have abusiness license and also were asking for money upfront for registering me into their database

I was contacted by Michael Scott in March of this year (2017). He saw my “Timeshare Ad” posted on another website. He said he had a prospective buyer for my timeshare week and he explained that his company (Vacation Properties by Owner) put buyers in contact with sellers and the entire sale and transfer process were handled by VPBO.
He had the prospective buyer, Thomas White, contact me so we could discuss the timeshare. After our discussion he wanted to proceed with purchasing the timeshare week and we agreed on a price of $6500.

On April 6, 2017 I received this email from Sara E. Gravely (Administrator):

All parties have completed VACATION PROPERTIES BY OWNER SALE AGREEMENT - WASYLKIW.
